1. Register

We encourage our buyers to register via our website to be kept informed of our upcoming auctions and important announcements. You may also register via Easy live, by telephone, or by commission bids.

 

2. Catalogue

Our catalogues for all sales are published on this website 2-3 weeks prior to each auction. Before bidding you will be able to ask about any specific lots that may be of interest to you.

 

3. Bidding

Attending Our Auction: You'll be able to bid in person on the sale day if stated in the auction description.

Commission bids: After registering in person or online you'll be able to leave commission bids with us that we will undertake to buy on your behalf as cheaply as we are able, after referencing to any reserve or other bidders. Please note that bids can be left online up to 30 minutes before the start of the sale.

Live Internet bidding: Registered bidders will be able to bid live on a sale from anywhere in the world.

Live telephone bidding: On lots over the estimate of £150, you can ask to be given a telephone bid, which means that a member of staff will bid on your instructions during the sale. You will be required to register beforehand.

Choose payment & shipping methods: After successfully bidding we accept payment in person via cash (up to £5,000), Debit card, Bank transfer & Credit Card (No more than £150)

Buyers that cannot collect their items in person will be required to have the items removed within 7 days after the auction or a daily charge will occur.

We can, for a minimum fee of £15, provide packaging and postage for smaller items such as jewellery, silver, etc. This would be shipped via Royal Mail or Parcel Force depending on the weight. This service is insured up to a maximum of £2500.

4. Buyers Premium

All auctioneers charge a Buyer's Premium on the hammer price. Our premium is 20% + VAT (Total 24% inclusive of VAT). Live bidding platforms charge an additional percentage which is payable by the buyer.

Buyers should note that storage charges are payable where they do not collect within 7 days after the auction has ended.
